Software update guide
Summary
This guide will help update your HD CAMERA PRO unit to the latest software version. An update should only be attempted under instruction from support staff. When experiencing issues consult with the support staff before attempting a software update.
What's needed
- Windows or Linux computer (*Apple Macs lack support for the standard USB function and the unit will likely not be detected to proceed with the update)
- USB cable
Steps
Downloaded the update below. Use a Windows or Linux computer and then proceed.
Software Update (version B159):

1. Start the LTE/4G HD Camera PRO In Recovery mode
- Turn OFF your unit
- Hold down both Left & Right (L&R) Buttons together and keep holding them, then Turn ON your unit
- Keep holding both L&R Buttons until the light turns Blue then release them
- The green light will shine and the red light will begin to blink – you are now in Recovery mode (you will not hear the “Welcome” message in your Earpiece, this means you have done it correctly)
2. Apply the software update
- Connect your unit to a Windows or Linux computer with an USB cable.
- Wait until the unit is detected. Open the unit then and open the “Recovery” folder inside.
- Copy the downloaded software update "Update-B159.usynfw" file into the “Recovery” folder.
- After it's copied disconnect the USB cable from your Computer. The Green light will begin to blink. This means the update is in progress and it should take about 15-30 seconds to complete.
- Wait until the light turns solid Green. This will indicate the update was successfully applied. (if it is Red this means it has failed)
Turn off your unit using the Power Button then turn it back on to start it normally again and to exit this mode.
